Irukandji - 692 Blacksnake

Irukandji's ultimate rod for deep school fish. The Blacksnake is what we pull out when marking fish down low on the sounder. We fish it with a wide range of lures. From 5” prawns, to 130mm vibes through to 5” 7” and 9” rubbers and large spinnerbaits. This rod has the tip to drive a big weedless hook or jig head home, and the bottom end grunt to turn big fish from heavy structure. With a 330mm but length, you can get great leverage casting heavier baits. Not only is this rod our deep structure destroyer. But she is our go to, when fishing medium to large rubbers high in the water column.
